"I don't mind being outside," Ruby said slowly, her head cocked and her eyes distant as she thought about the strangeness of Loki's questions. It felt like there was some sort of hidden wealth of knowledge within her, some well of all that was just out of reach just waiting to be tapped, but the route to said well was lost to her. It was a queasy feeling that overcame her then, one that left her worrying at her bottom lip as her fingers knotted in her lap in a rare display of discomfort.
She contemplated briefly the possibility that she had actually lived what she was dreaming at one point, than dismissed it outright. She couldn't. She wouldn't. Ruby couldn't stand to see even a stranger sad or upset, how could she ever, ever do the things she'd seen in her dreams?
"I've heard there are wolves in Storybrooke," she said. "But I've never encountered any personally. My Granny always warned me way off."
